The most famous ethical guideline in modern White Witchcraft is the Wiccan Rede, which concludes with the phrase: "An’ it harm none, do what ye will."
The "Harm None" Clause: This means we do not cast spells that strip away another person's free will. For example, a White Witch will not cast a spell to make a specific person fall in love with them, as that is a form of spiritual coercion. Instead, they cast to "Attract the Right Love" for their highest good.
The "Do What Ye Will" Clause: This isn't an invitation to do whatever you want. It means that once you have ensured your actions are harmless, you have the sovereign right to manifest your desires.
This is the "Safety Brake" of White Witchcraft. It states that whatever energy you put out into the universe—whether positive or negative—will return to you with three times the intensity.

The Rule of Consent: In White Witchcraft, it is considered unethical to perform a ritual for someone without their permission. To do so is to interfere with their personal "Life Map."
The Exception: If someone is in immediate danger or unable to give consent (such as a sick child or an unconscious relative), we cast for "Peace and Divine Will" rather than a specific outcome.
People often fear that a spell will "backfire" and ruin their lives. In the teachings of Dr. Bula Moyo, a backfire only happens when:
The Intent was Selfish: You tried to take something that wasn't yours.

A: Intention is everything. If your heart was pure, the Law of Return is much gentler. Simply perform a "Cleansing Ritual" and offer an apology to the Universe to reset the energy.
A: This is a "Gray Area." In White Witchcraft, we prefer to "Shield" the victim rather than "Bind" the aggressor. We focus on making the victim "Invisible" to the harm, which respects the free will of all while maintaining safety.
